Trenton Bath House
Projects inspired by the iconic site
Living Star Synagogue
Hedron design is overall geometric, however, loosely symmetric. It consists of an uneven landscape and a main sculptural structure where visitors can climb and observe the overall site. This project was catered to visitors looking for a modern recreational space with an interactive structure.
Site Studies
Located in Ewing Township in the state of New Jersey, the Trenton Bath House is a reclaimed design by the architect Louis Kahn, along with associate architect Anne Tyng, completed in 1955. This structure surrounds the entrance to the swimming pool of the Trenton Jewish Community Center and was listed in the National Register of History Places in 1984. Kahn is an extremely important architect in the modernist architecture scene. Due to Kahn's importance, students at the Michael Graves College School of Public Architecture study the Trenton Bath House by recreating technical drawings of the structure during their Freshman year of college.
